SSC Kids
Vision Statement
That children, made in the image of God, would know the saving work and grace of Jesus Christ, and that by the prayers and labors of the Church, in fulfillment of her baptismal vows, each child may come to know and worship God, revealed in Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Nursery/Preschool
Children (birth through Pre-K) are welcome in the Preschool Wing during the 9:15 and 11:15 services for play, story, worship, prayer, and snack. Starting at 9am & 11am
Elementary
Children (K-5th grade) are welcome in Promise Land during the 9:15 and 11:15 services for an age-appropriate lesson. Starting at 9am & 11am and then returned before communion.

- Provide a safe and engaging space for children to experience God and learn about their place in His story.
- Include every child and appreciate their differences as they worship, learn, and communicate.
- Be the strongest advocate (besides Jesus!) for families and children in the church.
- Help each child discover and grow their spiritual gifts by giving them ways to serve in and outside of the church.
- Intentionally walk with children as they grow in their relationship with Christ.
- Be a resource for parents as they navigate discipling their children.
- Lead children and plan programming through prayer and the Holy Spirit.
